Our role is to inspire and guide a school community that nurtures a digital literate environment, shifting towards student-centred learning involving hands-on practices. This will aid in integrating technology and teaching practices that will help our students develop 21st Century competences including critical thinking, creativity, computational-thinking, communication and collaboration to become responsible digital citizens.

Digital Literacy within SFCE
Hands-on STEM professional development session held with church school primary educators by Digital Literacy within SFCE. Participants from Malta and Gozo had the opportunity to engage with the versatile robot PHOTON, kindly donated to SfCE by @IEEE Malta Section, through Dr. Conrad Attard, in collaboration with Forestals forestals.com/photon/.
Apart from learning about the robot's functions, the educators used the robot to participate in a mathematics activity related to mathematical operations, multiples, and odd & even numbers.
Digital Literacy within SFCE
An engaging session was held by Digital Literacy within SFCE with educators and secondary students, from Our Lady Immaculate School and Savio College – Dingli – Malta, as part of the Jobs4all Erasmus+ KA210 project, coordinated by Funded projects within SFCE. Throughout the session, the participants got to know more about eTwinning Malta, the role of AI in future careers and the importance of internet safety and netiquette. Additionally, while the educators where guided on registration to the platform, the students created their own avatars, using the tablets provided, which they will eventually use in their eTwinning profile.
