The Church Schools Anti-Substance Abuse Team supports schools through consultation, preventive programmes
and directed interventions.
Main elements of the service:
- Facilitate and/or support the provision of anti-substance intervention programmes
- Assist the school community in intervention procedures related to substance use within the school premises or when there is strong suspicion of substance use by a student or staff member.
- Offer follow-up support to various stakeholders as part of the intervention process.
- Offer consultations to schools and parents regarding students’ potential substance abuse
