The Church Schools Antibullying Team aims to
support and empower school communities in managing bullying behaviour. The team directly intervenes to help schools manage bullying dynamics. Through this service, we offer intervention and support to both those experiencing bullying and those inflicting such behaviours. The team collaborates with schools and students’ families by creating safety plans for victims and implementing interventions to support perpetrators. Our stance is to work with schools to build safe communities that prevent bullying. We strive to adopt a whole-school approach, addressing both preventative measures and direct/indirect interventions as necessary. Additionally, the antibullying team liaises with outside agencies such as Besmart online, the Cyber Crime Unit, and bBrave to ensure an optimum professional service.
