Earlier last month, I had the privilege to attend a three-day course about making good use of AI tools. The AI training course in Budapest offered an in-depth exploration of various artificial intelligence programs, equipping us with the skills needed to excel in the AI-driven world. This course covered foundational and advanced concepts, catering to a broad audience, from beginners to those with prior AI knowledge. Some of the programs which I found interesting, and I am willing to use in my classroom preparations are, Padlet – I can’t draw tool, Character Generator, Image Generation, Ideogram, Audio Generation and SUNO. I also got to know more about what the Large Language BOTS, such as, Chat GPT, Gemini, Co-Pilot and Gemini can offer and what are the ideal prompts to use. These are good tools that can help us educators in our planning and can give us various ideas of activities which we can use with our students.
The training course included practical sessions where we attendees could engage and try out the different AI programs. This course fostered collaboration and encouraged us participants to work using AI tools. The focus on practical implementation ensured us that we did not only grasp theoretical concepts but we have also learned how to make good and useful use of these AI tools. The course provided us with a comprehensive journey into the exciting field of artificial intelligence.
The training centre Converzum had organised for us a walking tour around the city of Budapest, providing us with a local tour guide. This was very interesting as I got to know more about the history and culture of Budapest. Overall, I can say that this course was very enriching and fruitful to me and I am looking forward in using AI tools in my work and planning.
