Testimonial – Suzanne Aufieri

Recently, I attended a fifteen-hour course in Budapest as part of an Erasmus Project called Integrating AI in the Classroom with Critical Thinking.

I had never used AI before and hardly knew anything about it. However, this course was very beneficial and fruitful. Every day the lecturer exposed us to different tools of how to use AI and which tools are best for specific areas in the classroom.

On the first day we were introduced to the main tools of AI being ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot and Gemini. These are the basic tools to start AI and can be utilized in class.

Then we were introduced to more specific tools depending on the specific class needs and lessons. One example of this was the use of SUNO to create very specific poems or songs. This tool is so amazing since I can use it as an introduction to topics to motivate the students and make the introduction enjoyable.

Another interesting tool was QUIZIZZ. This will be helpful to create a quiz in order to assess the students’ knowledge and at the same time present it in an enjoyable way.

One of the tools that I be using is Ideogram. This tool generates realistic images, posters, logos and anything one can wish for.

The list of AI tools is so vast and immense that whatever a teacher wishes to do or create is just a click away from having it. This experience has enriched me as an educator and will surely share my acquired knowledge with my colleagues.

I would like to thank our lecturer Rita Diveki for her dedication and passion in transmitting her knowledge to us.
