Between the 16th and 18th of September, I had the opportunity to attend a training course on “AI and Critical Thinking” in Budapest, led by Ms. Rita Diveki.
Over the three days, we explored various AI tools designed to assist educators in making their work more efficient, engaging, and enjoyable for students. Tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini are excellent resources for educators to use when planning and creating engaging activities.

We were also introduced to AI tools like Suno, which allows users to create songs on any topic almost instantly. Ideogram, another remarkable tool, allows users to generate images simply by providing clear prompts. One of the key areas covered during the course was assessment. We learned how to create rubrics and quizzes using AI. However, we also discussed the importance of encouraging students to reflect and critically analyse AI-generated information they encounter.
I found this training course immensely enriching, and I look forward to implementing some of these AI tools in my work.
