Training & Mentoring

The Service Manager for Training and Mentoring, in collaboration with other Service Managers is responsible for:

  1. Identifying, assessing and actively responding to the training needs and staff development of all SfCE employees
  2. Providing appropriate induction and training to new SfCE staff
  3. Supporting schools in the implementation of the CoPE
  4. Coordinating the Induction Programme for newly qualified teachers (NQTs) and newly employed teachers and LSEs
  5. Supporting teachers in Self Sought Professional Development according to the new Accelerated Progression Scheme
